Up for sale is this beautiful Black 1985 Buick Regal with only 34k miles on body and a lot of performance aftermarket parts!
Under the hood is a rebuilt 1998 454ci Vortec engine with a Big Mutha’ Thumpr 243/257 Hydraulic Roller Cam and lifters. Holley AED 750 double pumper Carburetor, HEI ignition, Accel wires, Aluminum dual plane intake. Engine runs very strong with plenty of torque, that makes this one quick street car!
Rebuilt 700r4 automatic transmission has a full reverse valve body that let’s you dump into any gear at any speed, couple that with a Hurst Competition Ratchet shifter and a Limited slip differential, and you get a thrill of a car that makes you smile everytime you get in it.
Brand new electric fan hooked up to aluminum radiator, and new Holley electric fuel pump. Fully welded exhaust includes Hooker Competition headers, Flowmaster 44s, and mandrel bent turn downs.
This is a get in and drive anywhere car and has been daily driven with no issues. Starts right up with just a bump of the key and idles/sounds like real hot rod. Drives great and handles like it rolled out of the factory. Very smooth and tight suspension and steering. Recent maintenance includes replacement of all fluids, filters, and brakes.
No rust anywhere on this Regal what so ever! This is a very solid car that has tons of potential and very reliable as is.
With all that being said, this Regal is 36 years old and not everything has been rebuilt. It does have its share of wear and tear inside and out. Things like weather stripping seals, door hinges, hood shocks, ect. Also, the gauges don’t work, only the odometer and the 3 added gauges, oil pressure, water temp, and battery voltage. All lights work except rear driving lights, and front blinkers are painted over. That brings me to the paint, it is not professionally done, but it does look pretty good. It could use some polishing and buffing, and it should be better. Also, the hood was cut to accept 14″ air cleaner, and the hood scoop was added, but the body work isn’t good around the scoop.
