2005 Buell Lightning XB9
This is the 2nd Buell Lightning I’ve owned & the ride is outstanding …
The weight & balance on these bikes makes them amazing in the corners & they have a crazy amount of torque!
Unfortunately, hasn’t been ridden and now, reluctantly, up for sale.
These bikes are harder to find, with the low mileage, so don’t miss out on this one!
Tastefully modified:
Triple tree from a Buell Firebolt (lower profile), more cafe style.
Custom seat.
Custom dual outlet muffler.
Custom blinkers (I have the OE part).
Bar end mirrors ( I have the OE part).
License bracket relocated for cleaner look (I have OE part).
I have extra parts & manual that will go to the winning bidder.
Changed the oil & filter recently & replaced the battery 2+ years ago … but due to not being
ridden
It needed a charge before being started recently so I would say it
needs new battery.
It will need new tires fairly soon, 5k miles, depending on riding style.
The only issue is that the high beam indicator light, on the dash, remains on during low beam operation.
Clean South Carolina title … The bike, and myself, are now in Massachusetts, never titled it in MA.
No joy rides without cash in hand.
Cash in hand or a cleared money order before the bike and title are go anywhere.
